Privacy Policy

Raaha ("we", "us") is an Islamic habit-tracking app for prayer, dhikr, duʿāʾ, fasting, and daily reflection. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's protected.

What we collect

• Account info: your name, and either your Apple/Google identifier or email address, used solely to sign you in.
• Location: used only to work out accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. The times themselves are calculated on your device. The location you choose — its coordinates and label — is saved to your account so your settings follow you to a new device and survive reinstalling the app. You can set it manually instead of using your device's location. We keep only your current choice.
• Worship activity: prayer logs, dhikr counts, fasting records, and mood check-ins you choose to record, so the app can show your progress back to you.
• Subscription status: whether you have an active Raaha+ subscription, to unlock premium features.

What we don't collect

• We do not collect your date of birth or contacts.
• We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
• We do not read, share, or otherwise use the content of your mood check-ins and reflections. They exist to be shown back to you, and nothing else.

How your data is protected

Your data is stored in a secured backend with row-level access controls, meaning only you can read or write your own records. Authentication uses industry-standard secure sign-in (Apple, Google, or passwordless email), and session tokens are stored in your device's secure keychain rather than ordinary app storage.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app.
